Stamped Out are a five piece ska-core band consisting of:-
Andy T. - bass and vox
J - guitar and vox
Power Manger - drums and vox
Glynn - trombone and ska sounds
Dan - sax and ska sounds
Stamped Out started around September time 2001. Andy and Jay were the original band, but wanted a brass section. Enter Dan and Glynn. They struggled for a drummer, but decided on Mike, which I feel was a good choice.
It took quite a while to play their first gig, as rehearsal time is hard to find because of Mike, Dan and Glynn's other band commitments.
Eventually though, the first gig at the Rainbow and Dove came about and since then they have had a good readction to their sets and are now playing at the Charlotte with the likes of Lightyear and MU 330!
A short 4-track EP was recorded at Guthlaxton around November and plans to record an album are set.
